Today I’m so happy to share with you my lastest project with Yellowglen!
I was commissioned by Yellowglen to create a custom paper installation for the Yellowglen Terrace Marquee seen at Flemington across Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival.
They have created the Ultimate Selfie Studio with built in cameras and remote control so guests could take their own picture in front of my paper installation.
Click on the pictures above to see the installation.
Bubbles form Yellowglen Sparkling Wine was my inspiration to cover a wall of 2m x 4m. As you can imagine this represent a lots of bubbles! I wanted to give texture and movement to the background and went for approximately 6000 paper circles overlapping each other.
This project has been so great to work on because I realised that I love to work on a bigger scale. All your body is engaged and you feel exhausted but so good when the work is done!!!
As I work from a home studio, I had to move furnitures around to fit the panels on my wall, but the sofa couldn’t go far away… Check out this timelapse video!
Here are a selection of photos from Yellowglen, taken during the Turnbull Stakes!
